Microsoft Dynamics® CRM Consultant

Reports to:           Company Partner

To act as a technical SME for customer and internal teams on Microsoft Dynamics® CRM projects (implementations, customizations, migrations, and more). Other responsibilities include project management, configuration, data, and support.



  1. Responsible for one or more aspects of a project including extending Microsoft Dynamics® CRM, simple to complex customizations, UI/backend development, and more.
  2. Leading or participating in design and architecture sessions with clients, gathering and documenting business processes and requirements for the project.
  3. Assisting with architecting the CRM system, related customizations, portals, and reports to model the client’s organizational process.
  4. Advising customers on best practices for CRM, development or integration processes.
  5. Writing technical specifications for planned work.
  6. Creating data migration and integration mappings.
  7. Installing CRM and its related components.
  8. Building the CRM forms, screens, and views, as well as workflows and reports around the customer needs.
  9. Guiding projects along through daily communications with the customer or project manager.
  10. Resolving technical issues with servers, authentication, IIS, Exchange, SQL, SRS and other related technologies to CRM.
  11. Maintaining a list of trusted resources for researching technical issues.
  12. Regularly communicating with the customer on the status of the issue resolution.
  13. Estimating the completion of task and gaining customer approval.
  14. Participating in informal or formal design and architecting sessions with fellow consultants.
  15. Distribute information on the latest CRM-related and technology news to the team members.
  16. Support the application post go-live during system setting and fix applications issues not necessarily related to code.
  17. Other duties as assigned.



  1. Must be extremely detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask and be able to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technically related field (i.e. computer science, engineering, IT, etc.).
  3. 2 plus years’ experience working with, supporting and implementing Microsoft CRM
  4. 1 – 3 years’ experience in a technical capacity required.
  5. 2 plus years’ experience working as a consultant preferred.
  6. Professional demeanor.
  7. Sound knowledge on concepts of unit testing own code (developers).
  8. Ability to take initiative when opportunities arise.
  9. Works well independently as well as part of a team.
